Hi, I was wondering if anyone with some experience can tell me the easiest way to install coil spring spacers on a 99 Ranger?

These are easy to do. Did you get them used? They come with instructions. Use the search function and look them up. If you like, Google the install. There are lot of photos to view and you can see how easy it is to do the install. If you can't figure it out get a buddy to help or go to a shop.

You said install in your post, Bro...lol

Coil spring compressors works great. I did my 99 Ranger by adding taller coil springs. I did not use spacers. Spacers can go in either at the top or bottom depending on which ones you have. I have seen both types. Do you have a shop manual?

Try drooping the suspension fully and they wiggle out. Or use a spring compressor. Just be careful with the compressor because that shit can be scary if it comes loose. I prefer to droop the suspension. No risk of the spring blasting off.

Here are some photos on a 4wd Ranger. This is from another site I belong to. Hope this helps. You just really need to have the proper tools for suspension work of any kind. Hope this helps out a bit.

Thanks for all the info and advice. Am I going to need to disconnect the upper control arm, sway bar end link, and tie rod end in order to get the coil spring compressor in place?

take off the wheel, take off the brake caliper. hang the brake caliper so theres no pressure on the brake line. undo the upper spindle bolt and swap bar link. twist the swar bar up and out of the way. also take out the shock. put the compressor in, compress the spring and take it out, becareful. theyre under alot of pressure and are dangerous. spacer goes on top of the spring when it goes back in. then out everything back and get an alignment. you might need camber bolts.
