in the research I have done, a 1990 ranger, regular cab, v-6, 5 speed, 4x4 should have the BW1354m (manual/mechanical) transfer case, correct?
I have a '93 supercab 4x4 A4LD auto trans, BW1354 Electric shift t-case. I want to swap out my electric t-case for the manual one (1354).
so, assuming the '90 ranger has the bw1354m, would there be any difference in the linkage because it is a 5-speed trans and I have the A4LD auto. (I am only interested in swapping in a 1354m, NOT a 1350.)
I will be looking at the '90 ranger which is at a local scrap yard, sometime this week, hopefully.
(I searched the forum and couldn't come up with a definite answer for 5-speed to A4LD transfer case swap issues)
thanks in advance,
tom
