but, as was mentioned, he is basically just buying a Jeep tub and frame...it the axles, gears, and other stuff that makes it a good buy....

I think so. We will see when it gets here. I havn't seen it since last December. I am not sure what I got myself into yet.

This is a much bigger project than I planned. I am not an engine, Jeep or Chevy guy... LOL I have a lot to learn. But I am pumped for it.
The bad is that I probably will not be driving on any trails for a long time. This thing needs a lot of hours put into it.

Haha. She knows about it. She took it better than expected. I think that is because she thinks i was kidding though.

Its more about other people. A lot of this guys closer friends wanted it and offered good money. But I was the chosen one. There are select people (family members) that do not need to know about this until next year.

That reminds me of when I bought my quad, my GF didn't think I was serious and then showed up at her house with it in the Ranger.... She didn't think I was serious either
