Full Width SAS on '90 Danger the 4th

Pictures from last weekend with Stillwell Stompers. The trip was a total fail for me, but its all good.

Here are the guys we were accidentally grouped with. You can see Plum and I in the back ground of the first few seconds.

I would have like to see OneBadEx wheel with them. They were all broken by 2pm on day 1.

Our pictures. Of course, only one of me... LOL

Since my truck literally fell apart, we put my tires on Plums truck. They tucked really well.

Those are some decent videos. Was that at Southington? Those trails look similar to the stuff I do down here.

Nope, that is a club a found a few years ago called Stillwell Stompers (http://www.stillwellstompers.com/). It is all on private property about 30 miles south of me. It is a group of guys own a combined 5000 acres or something like that. Most of them have high dollar rigs. They are in the tree business. So its not a free roam park. You have to have a trail guide and there is a bit of pavement travel to get to the trail heads.

The first day we went was a fail. Our group left with out us. We ended up with the 40"+ guys. I broke quickly. We got back to camp and found our actual group. They just took us down roads and grassy fields which loosened up all of our u-joints.... We finally found some rocky trails by the end of the day. They have an area called 37 heaven. Its a rock garden. I have seen it once, but never wheeled it. I always break before I get there. :dunno:

Some vids of the last time I went there:
This is my buddies tube crawler. 44s, D60/14bolt, Propane 302, Stak Case

And my buddy Josh. 38s, 4 link front. They told him he wouldnt make it. You cant tell Josh that...

I will complete that. That is why I am now doing Tons next time.

You gonna start a new thread for the new build? When you gonna get a donor? 1st or 2nd gen?

Yep, I will start a new thread.

I will probably start looking next spring.

Depends what I find a deal on. I really want a V8 2nd Gen and swap in a ZF5. However, I will definitely entertain a 4.0L 5spd 1st Gen.
