My Son-in-Law needs help!

Update Men: We spent the day at the hospital with Son in law...they scanned and xrayed him and told us to stay at the hospital until the tests were reviewed.....

Then they immediately sent him to have radiation done on his left pelvis where more cancer has shown up causing him to be bedridden....

Good news is the doctor said the radiation will kill the cancer in his hipbone and the pain will go away in about 2 weeks(he hasn't been able to sleep for a week---even morphine didn't get him any sleep!)

Then it will be on to Plan B......a different chemo drug to work on the Stage 4 liver cancer

Name him??

I cant help him if I Dont know his name.
State his name so that I can help him.

With due respect, my ways are not your ways, I can help him if you will at least state his first name so that I have a direction to assert my and my ancestors influence. I cannot honor anyone unless I know who it is that I am honoring. Surely saving his namesake means he will be saved. By saying his name you honor him, to deny saying his name you deny him honor, that is not good for him.

I appreciate your zeal.....his name is Jason...thanks for being a friend.

Son-in-law is down again.....they had to radiate his leg more than they thought so it made him really sick.

Hopefully the leg radiation is a cure for the bone---the Dr. said bone cure rate is 98%....

one more week on the leg....

then they start back on his liver again.

Darn!! I just can't think of this happening to anyone. I am still wishing him the best!!
My brother-in-law is still down for the count. He is doing therapy still 4 days a week. That was one bad motorcycle wreck last year. He can speak great now and move his neck more. He can't walk yet but he can get around in the wheelchair. Good thing that Ford has a great health plan. He may never return to work. 30 years at Ford last year.

Wow man I am so sorry for what is happening to him. I will be praying for him everyday. Best of luck!

UPDATE:

Son-in-law finishes up his bone radiation this Thursday....he's starting to walk again without grabbing his leg because of stabbing pains...

Then they give him the real nasty chemo for 6 hours in a row starting next Monday :shok:

I sure have been praying that he'll start getting some good news.

Thanks Men....the doctor upped/added drugs to help his pain

...yesterday the morphine wasn't working....

the morphine and the demorall-sp? combo wasn't working.....

the morphine/demorall/delaudid/whatever(can't remember the 3 names correctly) wasn't working.....

the doctor told him that anyone else who had those drugs in that amount in their system would be in the morgue.....

So...

it's ironic...

ya'lls prayers are keeping the pain medicine from doing him in!

Update: S-I-L is walking without a cane now!

BUT........they started him on the nastiest chemo that they have because his liver was hurting him so much....

After 5 hours of it being pumped into his bloodstream---he felt too weak to walk----so his leg is good/but he's too weak.....

It's hard to believe that this has been going on for a year now.

Update: Son-in-law is finally getting out of bed after the nasty chemo....but he's got to go back tomorrow for another dose!

Seems like the docs have it spaced that he just gets his energy back----then the nuke him again!

They told him that this is the strongest stuff they have & he will have to take it for a year....

after that-------it's experimental chemo :shok:
