Big thanks to Brad (036speed) for getting the machine work and welding done for me. Its straight and true as an arrow. No more vibration/shaking at highway speeds. It looks out of place under my truck.lol

My buddy had a interesting vehicle swing by his work.

Ford Everest. This one was brand new with a 4cyl diesel, 5 speed, factory snorkel, factory rock rings to protect drive shaft yokes. Had a mini 9" looking rear end and IFS torsion front.

These are made in Thailand, but apparently the US Gov bought a few for disaster relief/response. It was equipment with a stretcher in and ways to anchor it in the hatch, and HD bumpers.

Got some work done this weekend.

Truck was running hot last week with the 80* days. I thought the t stat was sticking, so I pulled it and tested it in a pot of water on the stove. It was opening at proper temp, but not all the way.

So I replaced it and got it back together. I also found that my radiator was 20% plugged with mud, and my condenser was over halfway plugged up. I think that was the core issue.lol

Pulled the radiator and got everything all cleaned out. Now its good to go.

I have noticed the idle has hung a bit higher than normal before dropping to normal lately. Then my HVAC controls stopped working. Found the vacuum line supplying the reservoir was melted on the passenger header. All is well now.

Also completed an 8.8 swap on Mdn14's truck.

Did a little testing to check the new shaft slip yoke clearance and rear shocks at full stuff.

Apparently 20% tint is frowned upon.

Ill leave it for a while. I don't drive it enough to worry about it. I normally only drive it on days that I can roll the windows down anyway. I was going to pickup a tool box in the rain is the only reason I had my windows mostly up.lol

Wheeled at SOR yesterday at Spring Roundup.

My first GoPro experience was a flop. I got a few worthless clips and then lost SD card with the few good videos on it....

Had a blast, but sustained a little damage..

On the way to the park my wires for my temp and pressure senders caught the steering shaft and got wrapped up. I had enough wire to get the temp rigged back up. With the cooling issues I was dealing with last week before I cleaned the rad and condenser I wanted to keep an eye on it. Never got over 195 even in 80+ degree heat.

Towards the end of the day we ran a few tight trails..My trail limo rubbed a tree or two

Tweaked my pretty new rear shaft. Had a bit of a vibe over 55 mph.

All the tacks on my wheel joints cracked.

Tierod has a slight bend, but not bad.

Sliders. Good thing I built those sliders. They got a work out. I would say I landed on them every bit of 100 times.lol They have some burrs kicked up.
