So i have the ruff stuff 5" shackles for the rear of the front spring. I have been experincing a little shifting from side to side when i do a sharp turn one way then turn the other way right away. I know the rear spool is really pushing when im turning, which i dont mind. I also know a trac bar would fix this, but the truck handles really good other wise. Would welding the rear shackles together (like in a H) help the shifting some?
nice build, i like what you did with power steering box. good flexand not a bad approach angle for being leaf sprung
I redid my front leaf springs shackles. For my rear leaf springs i used chevy 2 in loweing shackles in place of the stock ones.Any pictures of the shackles yet? I am fixing to make some so I can get rid of my blocks.
I wanted to see how you did yours.
Where did you get your rear u bolts from? Been looking all over and can't find a 13" long Dana 60 rear u bolt kit. It's all too short

The shop I work at keeps u-bolt rods in stock. We have a machine that bends them and dies for round top square top, ford top, and semi-round top u-bolts.
