I rolled the 8.8 underneath and started mocking things up

tapped/rebuilt steering gearbox installed. I used a pitman arm off an old '82 f150, and reamed it for the 1 ton TREs

I hope to have the front axle underneath by the end of the day, then I just need to install the dual cases, and button everything back up.

I am heading out with a freind on Saturday to do some wheeling. We were going to do chinaman's gulch. If you want you can go with us. And I invite anyone who wants to go. We haven't set a time and apparently this trail is not for the faint of heart or rig.

The tcases? No, but I made some more progress on the axles, I just need a track bar and to finish up my upper link.

Haha, trying not to drop the steering box on my face while I thread the bolts in with the other hand was a challenge.

Dude it's lookin really good. I'm jealous of your steering setup. I've looked around for a Saginaw pump but couldn't find one so I broke down and went with the AGR..

it's a D30 and check the OP, plan was a D30/disc 8.8 from the start
