Lol. Let him give the TTB a chance, then soon he will turn to the dark side.

Plum, that fixed it! I was 1/2" toe OUT. Now it tracks straight and there's no suspension movement! Thank you so freakin much.

It will settle still, and you will have to align it again and again......and again.

I still want to build a D30 DD reg cab on like 30s.

-PlumCrazy

That would be sweet!

If I were to SAS it, I would certainly cut down a Dana 44. I dont see the point in building a Dana 30. And if I were to SAS, it wouldnt happen for a few years.

I would never run bigger than a 31 on a d30, and only under a reg cab.

The Dana 35 is probably stronger and gets better all-around flex and performance, both on and off road, than any solid axle out there.

But when converting a 2wd to 4x4 SAS is easier....and 2wd 4 cyl 5speed Rangers are dime a dozen.

:icon_rofl: Why? Plenty of Jeeps out there that actually wheel pretty hard running 35-37"s for years with no issues. Jeep puts them in everything from 2,500lb CJs to the 4,000lb V8 ZJ sport utility vehicles and they do fine. Many of them use the same size ujoint as the dana 35 and dana 44. People act like they are going to explode coming out of the driveway.

Because if I SAS with a D30 it would be my DD road whore. And huge tires accelerate wheel bearing wear.lol
