Didnt get the shifter modded today but thats priority tomorrow, cant start the engine until I get this done so that I can put oil in the transmoission and get the top bolted on.

The slave cylinder has dissapeared on me so I have to get another one of those and will cost me another $30

Got the dizzy, plug wires, carb bolted down.

Got the remote oil filter bracket hooked up, filter fits in ther perfectly.

Got the fuel pump bolted up but not wired yet. the wires for it are in the black harness to the right.

Progress was slow because my help and I had to clean up the parts from the truck out of the yard due to getting house insurance put back on my parents house and they said that it all had to be picked up...its like they have never see a red neck lawn.

Also autozone gave me the wrong belt. They gave me the one for the smog pumpwater pump crankshaft combo, not the alternator, power steering, water ump crankshaft combo. the one they gave me is 49.XX long and the one I need is an inch longer to fit.

Too bad you aren't closer, I have a like new one I will likely never use again.

Got the clutch hooked up and working, not sure about full disengagement yet, and got the shifter modded.

Also got the fuel pump working, just need to finalize the wiring for it.

Tomorrows job is to get the wiring for the truck done.

I get the wiring done tomorrow, it will be, for a minute due to my lower rad hose is to short but still haven't looked into a cheap way to extend it.

I have no idea what I said above but auto correct/spell sucks.

Goal is, get the headers biked on all the way, get wiring done, try to get it to run for a minute and a video of the first start.

Right now its raining so hopefully that wont slow me down to much.

Okay heres the best it got to starting up today. Found out that the source for turning a relay on for the igintion goes to zero meaning it shuts off the relay and no voltage goes to the coil when cranking but when I stop cranking voltage goes to the relay, turning it on and allowing for igintion.

It lives!!!! Figured out that the relay being used as a switch for the igintion wants 12 volts and none less to work so it will have be eliminated and the ingintion wire will have to be run a different way.
