I just noticed last night one of my spring buckets is looking kinda tough, the parts stores don't have them, LMC doesn't have them... does anybody make new stock replacements?

junk yard. or find someone parting a rig and bring your powertools

I don't see any on Rock Auto

I had a similar issue.. I was able to find a stock replacement at my local Ford dealership.

If you wanna make it look a lil tougher you could pick up some aftermarket buckets off James duff or the bronco grave yard.

Dealer can still get them as long as it is a 4 wheel drive truck. They are cheap too.

Isn't there a way to use F150 buckets as well?

The James Duff ones I ran on UA were bulletproof and bolted up in the stock holes stupid easy.... Worth the $$$ for sure.

Shane- yes I used them on my truck. I got them off a 78 F150 or 100. But I also sas'd it with the matching D-44. As far as stock axel I don't see why it wouldn't as long as the springs are the same diameter.

Where the spring sits would matter too, I don't really want to gain/loose ride height either. Same goes for the shock mount too. I just put new shocks on it and don't want to buy shocks again.

The only ones I see at Duff's is for a SAS and is a completly different design, I don't see anything at Bronco Graveyard.

I am curious what Ford would get for one, it seems they only thing "cheap" at the dealer so far is air... so far.

Hmm did you try searching the classifieds on here? Ive seen them for sale in the past. Just get some and take them to get powder coated.

If I can't turn anything up locally or new I will let you know.

The ones on my '86 parts truck don't look much better.

It is setting on jackstands with the engine torn apart so it isn't like a do or die tomorrow thing. Even then the rest of it still looks pretty good, most of it is still painted from the factory.

Really kinda disgusting, I just had all that apart a year ago (to put new RA bushings, shocks and springs in it)

Stop in & ask. :icon_thumby:

I've been surprised a number of times myself... I will only buy transmission (and probably motor) mounts from a Ford dealer. Trans mounts were roughly $40 or so if I recall right, it was only slightly more than what the auto parts chain stores wanted for their cheap Indian or Thailand-made garbage that the rubber separates on after 8 months to a year :annoyed:
The F-250 shock mounts everyone uses when modding their suspensions are ~$16.
Once in awhile you do run into a bugger though... such as gas tank filler neck hoses that are $400 (aftermarket being as cheap as $35).
