I'm saying this trying as hard as I can not to be a dick, but seriously I don't know if your just an attention whore or what but your not helping yourself posting a new thread everyday of some booger welds.


And if I'm reading right you say the guy in the orange shirt is Jason and that you did the welding...yet I see the guy in orange on the welder........

When you get the right machine, you DO NOT grind off the welds you SHOW them off

x2 I have a crappy minimum wage job and I just bought a hobart 187. Although if I was trying to sell stuff I would get like a miller 211 or bigger

Kip- look man I'm not baggin on you at all but those were some pretty bad welds. In my opinion you had your wire speed a lil too low or your power set too high. You got too hot and your weld started to run (Snot up). I personally like my welds to be just above level with the surface and have a very small divot on each side (to show good penetration) with a defined V pattern or U continuousely down the middle. When it balls up or domes Or leaves a groove you've got your adjustments wrong and or your moving too fast or slow.
