I think one was to short to fit between the frame rails and the one u got was about 36" long. But anyway, I got the plate and winch from Summit.

It is time for some steering upgrades.
I blew out the seal on the steering box on my last wheeling trip. Large tires on a stock steering system just isn't cutting it anymore.

This is very close to what I want to do.

This is on an XJ that has a full width 44 or is it a 60.....anyways, I might use 1 ton TRE instead of heim.

Edit: Going to swap to WJ knuckles to have the high steer arm and larger brakes.

Stick with TREs. Hiems was the worst mod on my Ranger. I'm going to TREs this time. They don't chatter and moan and wear out in a month..err....week like hiems.

I loved my 1 ton TRE's on my old SASd F150. I scored Spicer TREs at a local shop for under $60 for all of them. Used 1.5 OD .25 wall DOM tubing with weld in bungs. Shit was bulletproof.
