Some people don't know the difference between "than" and "then". My GF doesn't know so she just uses "than" for both words and it's annoying. I tried explaining to her that "then" is typically used for referencing different points in time and "than" is typically used when comparing things. She wouldn't listen Other than that, she has a pretty good grasp on the English language

I commonly short cut my words. I'll put $15 because it's easier then putting fifteen dollars/$15.00. Or I'll write 15 bucks.
Haters!!! Lol. I would write more correctly at a keyboard but I'm using an iPhone... It's such a pain. I've gone through a couple composition classes in college for my associates. I also write things like diff instead of different. But you won't catch me writing then where a than should be unless my iPhone auto fixes crap wrong and I don't notice.

It's not just here it's EVERY fourm on the net. People type "then" rather than "than" -it runs me nuts. Go on YOUTUBE and watch some old SCHOOL HOUSE ROCK! And no more ending a sentence with a preposition either! (example: "I am going to the store ,would you like to come WITH ?" )

Dude, you need to stay in school and stop letting petty things like this get to you....you taking meds for anything? Why don't you go after all the comics in the paper that type everything in uppercase? Get a life!!!!!!!!
