Yeah, let us know how that chinese turbo holds up

On another note, the rest of it looks good. Is that the rangersrevenge header? I've had great luck with mine, you won't be disapointed. It will however require notching of the heater box.

But I have to ask.... Why are you wasting so much time putting this stuff on if you've still got cast pistons? You're really pushing your luck on the pistons just running enough boost to overcome the losses through the intercooler.

Anyways, I predict you'll be tearing the motor apart within a few months to do what you should have done in the first place: turbo pistons.

well once the turbo comes apart it will destroy the motor so I wouldnt even go wit htougher pistons with that recycled wok turbo. By then he can upgrade to a real T3 and a real bottom end.

Killer.

I hate to be an ass like everyone else, but, we'll see how long that turbo lasts, along with your stock pistons. Let us know how it goes. :D

wow so that is def a garret t3/t4 hybrid, interesting since others said it was a chinese knockoff. i dont have too much experience w/ them ive worked around and replaced them on army diesels and other tuner vehicles. never did an install but im learning and going to do it to my 3.3. nice setup hope it works out for you.

Where does it say garrett??? Doesnt say on the compressor housing.

Ive never seen a real garrett that says T3/T4 on the compressor housing, and typically if its real, it will say Garrett in big embossed letters on the front of the compressor.

That thing looks as chinese as a wok of chow mein...

What company in florida did you get it from?

That turbo is the exact same thing I see on fleabay for 120 bucks brand new. If it were a real garrett it would "garrett" in big embossed letters cast into the compressor housing. I guess you'll find out pretty quickly if it is or it isn't....
