so i have a 2.5L 01 ford ranger. i want to turbo it with a T3/T4 turbo setup off the 240sx. i was thinking about 5 pounds of boost on stock internals. i know that the block is cast iron, but can the aluminum head handle the extra stress?? im eventually going to rebuild the motor for even lower compression and extra strenght... but for now i want the little extra power. Can i run more boost? or would it just be a bad idea all together? Can the head and pistons handle the stress?
