skyjacker fa600 pitman arm

I have a 93 4x4 supercab with 6'' skyjacker lift. I just install a skyjacker fa600 pitman arm ( 6''-8'' lifts) to correct the steering better it looks like the left inner tie rod end might hit the drag link at the ball & socket area as the left beam move upward it is that close I have not taken it out wheeling yet to find out I think the drag link might have too much of a bend to it if was a little straighter it would have more clearance has anyone run into this yet

A pic showing more of the length on the draglink side might help even more.

My best guess is that the draglink side is bent too far right in the area where the driverside tierod attaches. The other possibility is the axle is too far forward somehow.

sorry it took so long to post some other pics here's some from the pass side I look at a new drag link and put it underneath to see if it had less of a bend but it seems to be the same it's kind of hard to tell with it still bolted in the truck I might be able to put a angle gauge on it to tell or I will have to remove it

Thats odd... Nothing really looks out of place there. Could the dr. side tierod itself be bent?

Have you checked to see if it actually does hit? If it doesn't hit I'd be tempted to say not to worry about it.

the other night I tried jacking up the driver side beam but it just lifted the truck I did look at the drivers inner tie rod it is possible it is bent but I think I need to have a new one to compare it to I could take the coil out and cycle the suspension I was hoping it was going to be more straight forward to tell if it is a problem I didn't take it out wheeling yet because I didn't want to cause more problems

you ever figure anything out mine is doing the same thing making contact i actually had to remove the zerk fitting just to clear

Mine contacts too with the FA600, I keep meaning to pull that link off and straighten it a bit, the problem is they shortened the effective length of the pitman arm so it's stronger which pushes back the linkage and makes it bind like that. Mine has just self clearanced... I have a spare linkage that I'll fiddle with at some point...
