Ford Bronco II Fiberglass Body Panels

The Bronco II wheel openings in the fenders are so small that you can’t fit a 31-inch tire without either trimming the fenders or installing a lift to move the fender up and out of the way.

Some people cut the fender openings out to make the tires fit, some add Pacer Flexy Flares to clean up the edges, and some use Bushwacker Cut Out Fender Flares. If you added a lift and larger tires, they most likely stick out beyond the body.

Using fiberglass fenders will actually give you an opening that will easily accept a 35-inch tire, but they also come in widths that will cover the wider tires. This is especially helpful if you’ve swapped in wider axles.

Who Makes The Fiberglass

Fiberwerx

Fiberwerx makes quality fiberglass fenders. They list the for the Ford Ranger, but the Ford Ranger and Bronco II use the same front fenders. These Fiberwerx fenders come with a 6-Inch bulge and a 2.5-Inch rise. In the photo of the gray 1989-1992 Ford Ranger, you can see the rise difference between the front fender and the stock bedside. So, the wheel opening is tall, wider, and the fender extends out from the truck 6-inches wider than stock.

McNeil Racing

McNeil Racing offers fiberglass front fenders for the Ford Bronco II and Ranger. McNeil’s fenders come in either a 3-inch bulge or a 6-inch bulge and has a 2-Inch wider wheel opening (rise). McNeil states that their fenders fit a 33-35 inch tire.

McNeil Racing makes a fiberglass quarter panel for the 1984-1990 Ford Bronco II, but they refer to them as ‘bedsides’. These panels provide a 3-inch bulge but McNeil doesn’t list the tire size that will fit. From the photos you can see that they’re clearly larger than stock. also

Factory BS

Factory BS has a nice fat rear bedsides for your Bronco II if you’re running full-width axles. They state that their bedside is approximately 10-inches wider than stock and fits up to a 40-inch tire.

US Body

Us Body is the only company I know of that makes a fiberglass hood for the 1984-1990 Ford Bronco II / Ranger.
