Brief biography:

How long have you been a member of The Ranger Station?
Since 2001
How did you first get into Ford Rangers or off-roading?
I bought a Ford Bronco II in 2000 and knew nothing about it. Came to TRS to learn about it, ended up building it. Since then, I also had a SAS Explorer and a ton of Jeeps
What specific areas of expertise or interest do you bring to TRS?
I love suspensions and axles
What kind of Ranger(s) (or Bronco II, Explorer, etc.) do you currently own or have owned in the past?
1989 Ford Bronco II and 2001 Ford Explorer
Contribution to TRS
What do you do at TRS?
I’m here to swing the banhammer and try and solve peoples’ problems with the site.
Fun & Personal
Favorite Ford vehicle ever?
I will always have a soft spot for the Bronco IIs – would love to skin a tube buggy with Bronco II sheet metal
Favorite mod or upgrade you’ve ever done?
Full hydro steering
Most memorable off-road trip or experience?
Taking my buggy to Famous Reading for a trip with the guy that cut the most difficult trails I’ve ever been on. 3 V8 rock buggies on stickies and no one completed a single trail all day, even with winching. Drove 1.5 miles in 8 hours.
One piece of advice you’d give to a new Ranger owner:
Listen to the technical advisors and don’t bite off more than you can chew.

Ryan has gone from laying his Bronco II on its side, to wheeling a full-blown rock buggy.
