Materials:
Motorcraft® SAE 80W-90 Premium Rear Axle Lubricant XY-80W90-QL
Vehicle:
2019-2020 Ford Ranger 4×4
Draining:
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).
2. Remove and discard the front differential fill plug.

3. WARNING: Be prepared to collect escaping fluids. Remove and discard the front differential drain plug and allow the differential fluid to drain.

4. NOTE: Make sure that a new component is installed. NOTE: The drain plug is magnetic. Make sure that the correct component is installed.
Install the front differential drain plug. Torque: 21 lb.ft (28 Nm)

5. Fill the differential with 0.775 L (1.64 pts) of clean differential gear lubricant.

Filling:
1. Check the fluid level and top up if required with clean differential gear lubricant. The differential fluid level should be to the bottom of the filler hole.

2. NOTE: Make sure that a new component is installed. Install the front differential fill plug. Torque: 21 lb.ft (28 Nm)
