so i have a tough question,

4 brandnew KC daylighters for $130
(i know i wont find this deal else where...)

or a manual shift Tcase for $150?
my auto tcase works ok now... not something id trust on a tough trail though but i dont do them that much.
let me know what you guys think, i gotta decide today on the lights.

that is a toughy.........but it all depends on of your electric t-case is shit out or is gonna shit out. if i still had electric t-case i would choose the manual over the lights...........................although the lights would look sweet.

Both are good deals (if it is a 1354m, and I guess even if its not). What would get more use from you, I think I'd probably get the t-case because lights are easier to come by.

it is a tough choice, the only time the auto tcase has failed me was on a tough trail id would knock outa 4lo and into 2hi, but for what i use it for 90% of the time it works, but i also wouldent use the lights unless i was off road....

and yeah i do beleive it is a 1354 manual shift

i cant really make my mind up... im also not sure where id mount the daylighters on my truck with the topper... ( not a fan of bumper mounted lights.)

the tcase is ideal i guess, but i could be getting into a tcase rebuild as well if the new one is shot ( need to find out if theres an easy test on them any one know?)

and i suppose the tcase would be best as it would make it more reliable and probably sell faster if i ever decide to do such a horrid thing.

does anyone know the P/N for the transfercase to transmission extension gasket? or will i be able to reuse the old gasket or make one ?

Are the lights 55 watt or 100 watt?
I belive the Daylighters are 100.........Just asking.

If this is a good T-Case (I am not sure) then go for it, lights can be had for dime a dozen.

You cam always add two light from Wally World and have light but the Manual T-Case may not come again at the low price.

t- case man!

u can get better lights on forums like race-dezert.com for not much more.

Exactly get the T-case and save up some money for REAL lights, Hella 500's or other products made by Hella.:icon_hornsup:

KC's used to be the thing, it's old school, better products out there now.

If it is just a manual 1350 then no way. They are real cheap and easy to find, hell I had five of them in a pile at one point that I couldn't get rid of, and I still have two. I guess if it's the 1354 then maybe. I think I could find one cheaper.

i put the deposit down on the tcase today, its a 1354 mshift.... ive been looking in junkyards for a while now and everyone ive found is the 1350 and ones that wont fit my truck... every where ive called that has descent ones are calling for like 400.... so i figure its a good deal.

i dont really like thelook of the round daylighters on rangers, kinda fond of the rectuanglar lights (anyone have any suggestions on thease types brands models etc.), i think they fit he square-ish body a bit better.

I used a roll of gasket material called feltpro several months ago and I just cut out the shape of the gasket in between the transmission and the transfer case and it hasn't leaked yet. I think i paid 12 dollars for the roll. and theres possibly enough left over to make about 2 dozen more =>.

any parts store or tractor supply will have rolls of gasket material.....i wish i could find a 100'x3' roll, i got all these half-assed rolls that are too small and cut up to use for anything lol....
