zomg

does anyone know the P/N for the transfercase to transmission extension gasket? or will i be able to reuse the old gasket or make one ?

Yea, its called a bead of RTV sealant.

i put the deposit down on the tcase today, its a 1354 mshift.... ive been looking in junkyards for a while now and everyone ive found is the 1350 and ones that wont fit my truck... every where ive called that has descent ones are calling for like 400.... so i figure its a good deal.

Meh. Junkyards = Rape. I know where I could go pick up a good 4.0, M5OD and 1354M for $300 today.

You can buy the square 50w walmart lights and upgrade to a larger bulb 100w and wire size for pretty cheap. As for the Tcase my electric shift hasnt failed me yet, not once, and Ive done some wicked chit. But its still a hassle on the trail waiting for it to engage and given the choice I would run a manual. Ive got a 1350 manual Tcase that will soon be mated to a flipped and twin sticked dana 300 doubler.

I will need another Tcase for the bII. What where they asking for the 1350s?

There is good cheap, and there is bad cheap. Quality products will cost more compared to junk that is cheaper. The Hella 550 would be my choice.(since you want something square rather than round) http://www.rallylights.com/detail.aspx?ID=187

In the world of optics, as in virtually everything else, you get what you pay for.

The oval 100w "Off-Road" lights from Harbor Freight are pretty good, everything you need to run for under $30.

Although I think the local Wal-Mart screwed up and I made off with a set of Hella 500's and a set of Hella 550's marked down on clearance never opened for $30 a set instead of the regular $60 a set. Even at 55w, they are a better deal IMO :yahoo:

thats good to know, i dont really use them that oftin but i would liike to light up the trail when i wheel at night. lol

my 89 had the manual shift, i loved it. both my exploders had the eletronic and they have done just fine. i just hate the wait for it to engauge
