So a recent thread inspired me to create a thread where we all list our 'Scores' (no, not females, I mean items that are worth a damn the next day :D)

Most of mine came from idiots who didn't know any better

1990 Ranger, 4.0, ran perfect, rust free - 300$ (was the candidate for my 4.0 swap)
1990 BII, not running, only had a bad solenoid! - 300$
1990 BII, not running, only had a bad throwout bearing 250$ - DD for a year now, no prob whatsoever!
1980 xs1100, not running, only needed spark plugs! - 700$
1976 Fiat Abarth, one of a kind in the U.S., guy thought it was just another little european 'beater' - 700$ (One recently sold in AU for $60,000, all restored of course)
Model 1911 US Army issued .45, 250$ from a guy at work
M1A1 Carbine, US Army issued, 400$, same guy at work

1993 Saturn SL2 twin cam with a 5spd for $200, everything worked except it wouldn't start........ $26 and 15 min later I drove it home.

Hmm, I have gotten quite a few.

88 Plymouth Colt - $50, wrecked but driveable after a tire, JB weld, and a few hours
86 Ranger - $50, $3500 later it's my wheeling rig
85 BII - $200 - motor was in bad shape but sooo many good parts for my '86
73 Dodge camper - traded for my Nova that had a blown head gasket and steering problems
4 new 33" Wildcat EXTs - traded for a junk Probe with multiple problems
Craftsman 12 gallon air compressor - traded for fixing a lawnmower (needed new plug & gas)

I got this for $950...ran and drove great, but had massive amounts of rust. The interior was near perfect though. I drove it for 10,000 miles / 6 months before getting the Ranger. If I had room for two vehicles I would still have it.

1998 Crown Victoria Police interceptor with about 70K-->$250.... wouldnt start at the auction.... opened the hood, looked around and notice that the positive wire going to the fusebox was unhooked.... I hooked it back up and it Ran Beautifully....Never had a problem with the car....

1991 Chevy Lumina with 30K original miles-->$200.... Looked and drove perfect... just needed 4 new tires....Overheated at probably 120-130K later While driving up to the top of Pikes Peak.....Defiantly worth it!
