What do you guys think is a fair price?

If it is all that my opinion is why the F are you even thinking of getting rid of it. Take it out and trash it first then after a couple of years if you feel you should sell it they are worth more with cascade mountain pin striping (scratches and dents) and worn out springs.

Somewhere between $1500 and $2000 depending on your market. Personally, I would never spend more than $1,500, not that it is not worth more. I would rather fix up a $500 beater then spend more than $1500 on one.

My Current BII exterior is ugly as sin, but the interior is mint and it runs great. It was basically saved from the shredder and is constantly being reborn.

Ahhhhhh....the Cascade Mountain Pin Striping! Damn Alders.

it really depends on the market youre after. 4 wheeling crowd, well theyre not gonna wanna spend a fortune on something thats gonna have the dogsnot beaten out of it anyway, so yea 1500 max there. BUT if you market it as a reliable econo minded vehicle like a "great for a second car" or "buy now and be ready for next winter" kinda thing or great for a teens first car, and show proof of the work done especially the engine rebuild, in those type markets, maybe between 2500-3000.

you know man, after re reading that it could be considered a partial restoration, and since its 21 years old, thats justifiable to restore, so, in the right condition, maybe upwards of 4 grand is possible if you can market it right. i mean i know people arent restoring the b2s yet, but these are probably bound to go the way of the half cab and be a hot resto item as the years go on and the numbers decrease from wrecks, rust, abuse and fires. my sis had a mint 88 with 47k original on it that burned to the ground in 01.

Where is it? I'll give you a grand for a good B2

One of the reasons that we buy these B2s is there cheap sucks when you sell them though.

I would start at $2k and see what you get for bites.

$1500 would probably be about as low as I would go though, but if you need it gone you need it gone... go as low as you have to.

Thanks for the input guys, as I was saying I don't have to sell it, just thinking about it as I'm getting ready to move etc... I was thinking in the neighborhood of $2000 or so (to the average person, craigslist etc...) I know most people here would want a B2 just to beat on and this one hasn't been abused so it would be a waste for someone who just wanted to bash it. Either way, just wanted to make sure my price wasn't way out in left field or anything.

I want one to build and tow with, not to beat up.

Okay, I'll mention it! How about a picture? I saw a prime one (XLS) on the street a couple of weeks ago. Sure rather have one like that then some of the other "stuff" they sell today. Don't have to go off-road to enjoy a BII.
