yet another 302 question

i put the 302 in my 88 rabger but thus far ive just set it in there dont have it bolted down or anything just wanted to see how well it fits it looks like the place for the motor mounts (i dont have them yet) is right over the old holes does anyone know if the v8 motor mounts will just bolt up or will i have to drill new holes plus what vehicle is the best donor for the mounts

You will have to drill or cut new holes for the mounts. The ones everone uses are the 85-93 Mustang 'vert mounts. $45 at your local parts emporium. There are others that will likely work as well. I think some one even used 70's F100 302 mounts.

get transdapt plates and stock mustang mounts . works great . and of course the fox body oil pan and pick up tube ...

Joe, Mustang mounts need no other plates to go with them.
