my latest idea is to use the stock sploder set up (axial over spring). and swap in some 6400s to give me my one to two inches of lift in the back. then just have some one weld in my stock style ranger shock mounts? pros cons? or am i just talking hot gas?

just use two drivers side sploder plates...i did that a few times till i got smart and put the shocks on the same side of the axle instead of the retarded factory ass kickout stagger.

it would lower your ranger, thats basically what a flip kit does.

you would need 6 in lift springs or 4 in with the shackles

i'm confused, you want to install an EX 8.8 and keep it sprung under? then use belltechs to lift your're ranger? why? you can get spring perches for $25 from 4wheel parts and shock tabs from ballistic for less than $10 shipped

too lazy to set the pinion angle. and my bronco is at my house and not my old mans place.

and thank guys.

what you have to rememember is not only is the explorer leaves more arched, they are also mounted under the frame on the explorer, not on the side like the ranger, so your already losing an inch or two from that, then the spring difference, and the spring under axle difference, you'd prob be 4" lower the factory now
