A locked front likes to walk sideways on slick rock.

No yard sale though, the glass stayed intact.

nice flop :clapping:

i've only been running a locked front for a few weeks, and i've already learned its a little iffy sometimes

so all you used was a come-along to get it back on all 4? what # rating is it?

Oh man did you get lucky with that glass staying intact. Gad to see everything and you are ok.

No, the come a long was to help get it and hold it on the wheels. It was winched up the hill with another vehicle to a flat spot so the fluid could drain.

for whatever reason, i love the stock explorer wheels on your truck! I think i might mount my old 33's to my explorers stockers.

so what happened?did you start out on the left side of the road and slide down that rock to the right, and teeter totter to the right when the pass. front tire stopped at the bottom of the rock?

That sucks. That looked like a nice rig, now it is a nice dented rig..

Is that at Evans Creek? If so, is that the 196 trail above that pond? It looks like it.

yeah it is. From what I was told, the front walked over on the slick rock from all the rain we had the night before, and it slipped into the v notch. That spot is known for flopping people if you slip into the trench. I only remember feeling it going over and me steering into it. When I couldn't turn the wheel anymore, I watched the ground come up to it's side. It flopped lightning quick and landed slow and soft, if that makes any sense.
