Years with Tan Colored Interiors?

Hello Everyone. What years between 1998 and 2011 came with Tan (vs. Grey) interiors? Thank you

For those years, Tan and Gray are the most common Ranger interior Colors. Some of the FX4 have all black. Some from the 98-99 years have blue interiors, and green ones are rumored to be out there. Haven't seem a red interior on a stock Ranger since the mid 90's.

These brochures would likely be the most accurate resource for available interior colors, especially for the factory names for the colors.

I think that the "tan" interior may have had several shades over the years.

Yup, tan and grey were the common colors. Think both colors were offered based on the exterior color of the vehicle and what package. Mom ended up with an XLS Explorer because the same one in XLT trim had tan instead of grey interior.

I've never thought of my truck being common, even if it is. It has it own special issues. I might as well name it "Karen".

One thing about tan cloth or vinyl interiors in my experience is that they don't age well in most cars compared with gray or black. Also, they're supposed to look like leather. But unless they really are leather, uh, they just don't.

i hate having a tan interior. none of the vehicles we own has a tan interior and i am so glad

It seems like tan stains easier than gray or black does. Obviously, black hides a lot but black also absorbs the most heat when the sun is out.

Yeah, I’m partial to grey for interiors unless it’s leather or an Eddie Bauer, lol

To me, leather is just expensive vinyl. I’ll take cloth.
