Can I run a 92 3.0 from a ranger in my 95 even though I have obd2 or wont my harness and or computer be compatible?

95's ain't obd2 is it? i think the 95 rangers have an obd 2 looking port, but is not obd 2... i think. i could be wrong tho.

Idk I use an obd2 scanner to pull codes from it and there have been odds and ends parts that according to the parts store are 96 and up specific... I think it may be like a late 95 year thing or something odd

The base engines are the same, but you'll need to keep all of the wiring from the 95, and switch out the distributor from the 92 with a cam synchro from the newer motors.
I think they switched to OBD 2 in 94 maybe?
