Yakima roof rack

I like the roof rack idea but I always fancied one over the bed.... theres a ranger in that photogallery with what I'm talking about but It was cool.

What clips are you guys using? Ive wanted to get one for awhile but thought that my truck wouldnt look right with one but now that its getting some bigger shoes in a couple weeks it might be able to pull it off. How high off the roof are the crossbars?

Dude, I told you wrong. I remeasured tonight and the height from the roof to the top of the crossbar is 5 1/4". I thought the 7" sounded a bit tall so I checked again. So it is not really too tall.

I like having a cap on my bed better. It just turns the bed into one big trunk.

Hats are very distinguishing though. Irregardless, I'd rather have a light bar up there for 20 gabillion KC's that I'd probably never use
