hey guys my buddy has a 1996 ranger reg cab its a splash an he has a 4.0 in it an the y pipe has a huge hole in it an he cant find one to fit from his area ranger they dont make it he is curious as to if the newer sohc 4.0 y pipe will work on his 96 thanks for the input guys

Try RockAuto.com. It seems to be the only place I can find parts for my 88. You can call and double check if they have it before you try ordering.. That's what I did only to find out that there were only 3 in stock.

Y-pipe for a 1995-97 are all the same, pretty sure it's different 1998-00

I KNOW the earlier 1993-94 Y-pipe is different.

Have you tried Ford?

I seem to recall that a y-pipe like that was ~$90

he has try ford they do not make them anymore an also the are na hear in canada at all are parts stores
