y pipe install

I had to cut out my old wipe pipe and now its time to put the new one in but it seems impossible to slide in. any pointers?

Installing the new Y-pipe can be a four letter word/cold beer job but it can be done with some fanagling(technical term there). Can't really explain how I did it but I was able to install mine on my 88 2WD. 4WD may be a bit more challenging I'm not sure there.
