So my headers are very rusted, 1 stud is missing and jimmy rigged with a bolt. I want to buy new stock headers off ebay. My question is...the down pipe, y pipe, whatever its called that connects both headers and collects into 1 pipe... Where do you guys get these?

I was thinking of getting the headers, and just taking it to an exhaust shop and have them put all new studs on, and the custom make me an exhaust/ Should I look for a y-pipe or have them just fabricate everything from the headers back?

How much should I look to spend for an exhaust shop to make me an exhaust? I see dual cat back kits on ebay for around $270-450 but then with those, its not welded and i dont have a welder, but could just mount myself and have a shop weld the connections. Whatever route would be cheaper but i want it right.

Since you want headers I'd say just get the whole thing fabbed. Probably cheaper than finding a Y-pipe.

your best bet is to call around exuast shops and see what you can find. my local mom and pop exuast shop told me around a 100 bucks for a y pipe off a set of JBA headers to the exuast.. But at the same time I had a large chain muffler store tell me $300.
