I've been trying to find a shark fin xm antenna to mount on the roof of my truck but I can only find the chevy antennas with onstar. Does anybody make after market or generic ones compatible with sat-ready radios?

Nope. The shark fin works with O.E. radios. I know it looks cool but stick with the stock one. I have 3 XM units and have found if ya try one that's not set to your model it will get sucky reception.
