Horse Power Chips is one of the sponsors at the top of the Ranger Station Forums. They are much cheaper than the Jet modules for a Ranger.
Does anyone have any experience with a Horse Power Chip in their Ranger. I'd especially like to hear from 2.9 users but all users input would be appreciated.
The add at the top say they are #1 rated.
Thanks

i was looking at it and the way it says it works is just tricking the computer into thinking air coming into the intake is colder then normal. the chip thing just goes between the wires to the intake air temp. sensor and the computer and sends the computer a different signal. in theory of what i was thinking if the sensor is a ntc(negitive temp. coefficiant) sensor or a ptc(positive temp. coefficaint) that you could do the same thing with a variable resistor in place of the sensor to change the resistance that the sensor would be doing and you could change the resistance to make the signal being sent to the computer to think the same thing. thats all in a theory though let me know what you guys think.
