has mildly built 302 its damn stout only think wrong with it is goin down the road the trans will do fine then just all of sudden start to slip till you let off the gas torque converter i believe is bad .. i can get it for 800

well just went and talked to the guy and drove it, fun to drive just when you get to cruising speed it acts like its not locking in like it suppose to that would be torque converter right?

I'd try changing the fluid. If it's been run low on fluid it'll burn the fluid and start acting funny.
