cant tint windows it isn't legal too here,but the taillights are getting smoked and grille going black with mesh behind it

nova scotia. a buddy had tint on his front windows and the cops made him take it off. and i was told that if my tail lights were not black black but like 2 coats of vht it is legal.

thats very confusing in near barrie ontario and the taill lights are the same law as you but as for tint they dont really care. but if you wanna get all technical they dont care as long as its no darker then 15 or 20 percent i think

I think the black looks killer. It all depends on the look your going after. That's where I'm at right now. Trying to decide beteen black Pro Comp 8179's or chrome Rock Crawler 99's. I already have chrome bumpers (which I'm not real fond of) and a chrome Safari bar with KC slimlites a chrome grill and chrome nerf bars on a black 2000XLT. They say "chrome don't get you home" but.. it looks DAMN good! The only thing..too hard to keep clean, especalily on 4x4. I think if I had it to do over I would probably black the whole truck out.
