ill give em this much. the explorer tranny sucked, thats about all that was bad with it. and the little econobox hatch backs are badsass no mater what anyone says

some cars specially the older ones had some really weird issues, like the ferrari mondial, cuz they tried to make em more technologically advanced and that wasnt their time, just like the first fefi engines, they had some flaws cuz they were something new.
they should add the nissan sentra se-r spec v then, the thing burns the pre-cat, thats located on the header, almost attached to the block, when the cat particles get burned they go into the engine, sucked by a desing thing by nissan that leaves the exhaust valves partialy open to suck back some fumes to re-burn em, thing is that the particles sore the cilynders and pistons rings.
almost any car has its flaws, buts not like their the worts just for that.

A century later, the consequences of putting every living soul on gas-powered wheels are piling up, from the air over our cities to the sand under our soldiers' boots. And by the way, with its blacksmithed body panels and crude instruments, the Model T was a piece of junk, the Yugo of its day.

So basically, this guy thinks cars are the root of all evil. What jackass put him in charge of deciding what cars were good or bad? He probably thinks the Prius is a marvel of engineering. The Model T had blacksmithed panels because nobody had invented a stamping machine yet, and of course the instruments were crude- it was 1909!


On a side note- I had really hoped the SSR would be more popular. Maybe it would have prompted Ford to revive the Ranchero.

i will actually agree with most of that list. i found it ironic that they picked the 95 explorer. 95 was the worst year of the exploder.

What exactly make 95 the worst year of the Explorer? It was the same as the first gens except for different styling, better auto trans, better front suspension, and added safety (airbags.)

Unless you don't like the styling (understandable) or you still insist that TTB is better than SLA , I don't really see why 95 is the worst year.

i still insist that ttb is better than sla? when did i do this? buddy i have a sla ranger.

but worst compared to the rest of the second gen explorers as the rear torsen mount is welded, not bolted to the frame. that was a design flaw corrected in 96. no differences that i know of otherwise, but one flaw makes it worse than the rest.

not that it would matter to me though.

and i hate the grills on em too.
