Just looking for the best advice please to fix thid vacuum leak.

- buy new Amazon cheap carb?

- rebuild my current carb and drill out the shaft and add bushings? Does anyone know where I can get these?

- I have found another old carb E5ZE AB with a solid throttle shaft. Either rebuild this carb, or bolt this throttle plate to my current carb? The only difference I see with the old carb is that it has a wiring harness coming off the throttle shaft, my carb does not.

See pics, my current carb is the cleaner one. Thanks in advance.

The simplest would be to swap the throttle bodies that you have. But they may not swap, it sounds like one was a electronic carb and the other is not.

2nd solution I would do is buy a china knock-off. Unless you have access to a machine shop and the time to do it, it's just not worth re-bushing the carb unless it was not available cheap, which it is apparently since you mentioned it.
