So, I replaced my fuel pressure regulator and while I was messing around with the FPR I saw a small plastic piece on my throttle body that connected my throttle lever to the actual lever that opens the valve. What caught my eye was that the plastic piece says 28. It is extremely worn out and I am looking to replace it with a shorter one like a 26mm or a 27mm. Does anyone know of a place where I can find one? I will provide a picture to help clarify which part I am talking about.

Take a pair of calipers to junkyard? Why would you want a shorter linkage?

I am hoping to get a more snappy respone from the throttle. Also it is worn enough that 1/4 throttle at the pedal is like 1/8 throttle at the body.

Try something less permanent that many have done with Rangers in the past. Install a zip tie or two on the cable end under the dash. It shortens the cable and is a fix for cable stretch without trying to find a replacement cable.

Then one the same length but in good shape would yield the same result, right?

Zip Tie Mod

That's what the zip tie mod is for.
