Woodgrain bezel for 88-93 dash?

So when I was at my local pnp last week looking for a pcm I came across a 92 that had a woodgrain dash trim bezel and matching cover for the ashtray. I would've nabbed it immediately except for the fact that it was VERY faded and rubbed away to a silver backing in spots. I don't think it was wrapped as I mostly had it popped off before I noticed the wear and the plastic was significantly thicker than on the crap oem trim bezels most of us have. Was this an add on deal, cuz I'd love to get one for my truck. I've always been a sucker for fake woodgrain stuff since my first two cars were early 90s Cadillacs

Answered my own question... Apparently they came in Bronco II's only from 89-93. Now if I can just find one...

It's a factory piece on 1989 Ranger/BII XLT trucks, but I'm not aware of it being offered on anything later, as '89s are the only ones I've seen it on so far (my '90 XLT doesn't have it). There could have been some aftermarket options out there too though, not sure (and of course a '89 one can be swapped to a '90-'94 dash panel also, though there's some chance you might have to modify the stereo opening slightly to put it on a '93 & '94).

Interesting... Wondering why mine doesn't have one (not that it matters lol). A relative's '90 I don't recall having one either.

IDK, either Junkie. Then again, the truck is a weird one.. 2.3, 4x4, lb, with m5 and 1354E, so....????? The 4.10 gears and L/S both ends are nice, though.
