Well today I am finally done with my school and have my class a cdl. I have my doubles/triples, tanker, and hazmat endorsements too. Sorry if it sounds like I'm braggin' I just wanted to share. This is easily the biggest thing I have ever done with my life. I finally made me realize that I CAN do anything I put my mind to.:headbang::yahoo:

Congrats man. I was thinking about getting my CDL when I wasn't doing well in school and forced to drop out.

Congrats!~

It's a nice feeling accomplishing something...hope you enjoy working at that position and can reap the benefits of your efforts...:beer:

good luck. only about 10% that graduate a school stick with it.

What did you have to go through to get it? And how long?

Congrats. Happy trucking, ch.19 is always busy. :icon_cheers:

Congrats, Earl. Be safe. Show the 4-wheelers what a good driver can do.

I have my HazMat and Tanker.

Tell us what your truck looks like so we can steer clear while you gain experience.

you know i caused more body damage in my first 3 months..... stupid things like shaveing off a trailer door, backing up and passing the fender over a well casing and ripping the fender off when i cut the wheels the other way. opened a sleeper up like a tuna can trying to turn into my driveway (damn guide wire for the light pole went across the driveway).

most schools are between 16 days and 3 weeks. then you go with a coach for 3 weeks......... and then you are left to your own devises to figure it out. Anybody can get a CDL, not everybody can drive a truck. the driving part is only 20% of what you deal with. And for god's sake, unless you got a question stay off the damn CB.

i was thinking about gettin mine, but im graduating as a machinist and i got a good job so ill stick with that, i do however, want to get a hazmat licence so i can haul explosives :headbang: (i do fireworks during the summer)

I have mine, all endorsements. I drove a '72 Mack twin stick for almost a year, I loved my truck.:wub:

Congrats man!

And on the beer, you should not only buy us beer, but bring a truckload of it! ;missingteeth;
