3.0 190000 manual tranny. my truck will revv up when i let off the gas or push clutch in the shift. it bumps up almost 100 rpm when i go to shift and takes 3 -4 seconds to fall back down. the only way i can get it to stop doing it is to eithrer restart the truck (which only helps for about 10 minutes) or to pull battery cable off and restart computer.... i have replaced the iac , egr, plugs, wires, coolant sensor. i do not belive thier is any vacum leeks since truck is running 100% untill it start revving up.... some one please help this is pissing me off

How about the throttle cable, could it be that it's hanging up somewhere and then the engine's movement is opening the throttle a bit? If the throttle doesn't close I can imagine the ecm trying to correct for it when you do a reset. Or badTPS?

i know 100% my throttle is not sticking ive made sure... i do not know if its my tps, idk how to check it. i mean i can unplug it while its running and nothing will happen and it will throw a code. another thing is i replaced my cps a while back not sure if that would cause it since it pings like a bitch as well.

Vac leak or IAC. Did you clear your ecu after replacing those sensors?

yes its been reset multiple times, what should happen when i enplug tps while its running>??
