Won't pass emissions.

Got the codes pulled.

Have a 12 and a 13. At one time I had a 33. The 13 code, DC motor will not move, is that the IAC valve? Have had trouble with that before.
Have been reading around and a new cat will not necessarily fix high NOX. Is that true?
Talked to Tony Skinner (guy who put cat in) and he wants to pull a jumper and check it.
Is that the SPOUT connector? To make it pass?
Thanks.

its possible that pulling the spout connector might make it pass because youre essentialy keeping the engine timing at a fixed number (10* BTDC if i recall correctly?). what does code 12 mean? did you replace the IAC valve when it threw the 33 code last time or did you manage to get away with just cleaning it?

I was able to clean it.

After doing some more reading, I think the engine is just carboned up which I understand is common for over 150K (I have 197K). So I need to de-carbonize it. Got until the end of next week.
