Hello once again, I'm back at it in this abusive relationship ship with my 02 3.0 manual. I recently pulled the trans to do the rear main and now the wont go into gear while running. I've bled the entire clutch system several times and yes I made sure to have it in neutral before I pulled the shifter but alas to no avail. I'm 75% confident I put that clutch pack back together correctly but everyday that goes by that percent goes down. I never replaced any part in there because I just did them last year and she was working just fine. Before I rip this trans back out and figure out what I did wrong I thought I'd consult the wise first. Any help is appreciated.

Also to note I haven't found any leaks in the clutch lines and they hold vacuum. Master seems fine no leaking and holding pressure fine.

Any chance at all you installed the clutch disc backwards? Not to be the bearer of bad news guesses.

At this point anything is possible, bout to find out when I get the courage to rip this trans out. I'm fairly confident it went back together right but fair confident obviously hasn't gotten me very far lol. I'll check it out when I pull the trans

Sounds like you covered most everything else. If the clutch fork is moving full travel I can't think of what else it would be. Possibly backwards throwout bearing? I don't know that trans enough to know if that's possible.

Sounds like you still have air in the system. Try bleeding the clutch master cylinder. This will require you to remove it to bleed it. You tube has several videos on this process.

The throw out bearing in these as far as I'm tracking are apart of the slave. I never touched that side when I pulled it. I honestly think your right and I just had a moment putting it back together. I'll rip it out tonight and let yall know

The way we do it is, undo the master cyl rod from the petal, undo the master cyl from the fire wall. Push the master cyl through the firewall toward the engine enough to raist the lower end to an upward position. Doesn't have to be straight up, just an upward angle. Fill the res with fluid, then open the bleeder on the slave until straight fluid come out. keeping watch on the res, don't let it get low. When you get nothing but fluid, close the bleeder, replace the master, and you are ready to go.

So I replaced the slave cause I kinda fucked it up when I put it back together the first time, still nothing. It's like the slave isn't pushing out far enough. The clutch plate was on correctly and the clutch feel like it has plenty of pressure. The lines still hold pressure and I've gotten as much air out of it as I can. Idk what I'm missing here the masters not leaking and holding pressure as far as I can tell.
