My pass. headlight housing is loose and wobbly, I think one of the lower bolts is either loose or broken. Am I correct in thinking this is a pain in the ass part to take out?

if not wrong the headlights go bolted directly to the header panel, not that big pita to do, i did it once for my moms ranger (93)

Cool thanks man.

Chk it out my Wife's '98 has "Pull Tabs" for the head lights.
What usually breaks is the plastic screw tabs.
I imagine any jY would have some in the yard.

Open the hood, remove the little plastic shield and look and see if there are Pull Tabs on each side of the light, if so pop out the headlight and have a look.

I took a look today, and it appears that im missing one of the snap rings that hold the housing to the truck.

i have one wobbly light and one extremely effered light

Yeah my pass side, is a bit loose and then the stupid plastic ring on my drivers side is all effed, so I'm thinking new housings after the snows gone.
