Hello everyone ! I am new here and I found this site while searching for an answer to my problem . I sure hope someone can help me here ! My problem is this----I have a 1988 XLT Ranger I am trying to put back on the road and one of the things I am doing is rewrapping a lot of the wiring in the engine compartment . I came across what I think is a resistor and it has a wire connected to each end and one wire is broken off too close to reconnect it . it is made of rubber ----measures 2 inches long by 1 inch wide by 1 half inch thick and has a symbol on each side that looks like a lightning bolt and the letters P9 on one side . I have tried to find it on a few electrical sites and online electrical diagrahms without any luck . If anyone can put me on the right track it will sure be appreciated .
