wiring question

Only if you are using an electric case...

SVT

I am running the ranger transfer case, will that matter for 29 and 33?
The Ranger ESOF (electronic shift-on-the-fly) transfer case would normally use both.

(29) The low range input to the PCM is not wired at the 5.0 PCM and the PCM probably is not calibrated to accept that input anyway. I'm not sure that this really matters.

(33) The Ex wiring manual says that the rd/wh input is there and wired for the 5.0 Ex application but the manual is not always correct. If the rd/wh wire is not present at your 42-pin, it is because it is not needed for either the 2WD or single range AWD that the 5.0 Ex uses. If that is the case, the neutral input from the transmission to the t-case controls could probably be added by teeing a branch off from the rd/wh that runs from the transmission to the PCM. That should prevent shifting t-case ranges while in gear.

I have the electric case so hopefully I can find a way to make it work
