I did the manual to power conversion and everything works great, except the locks. I wired them using two dpdt relays per the diagram...

When I hit the lock switch it sounds like it wants to go but acts like it doesn't have enough power to move the actuator. I tested the hot and it is 13+ volts at all the terminals its suppose to be and at the switch. Any ideas??

everything is real simple minus the locks. All I did was pull the window motor & actuator, power mirrors, power lock actuators & door wiring harness out of similar yr truck from the salvage yard. Then put them into my doors. All the holes for mounting the window motor already exist. Then I ran a fused power to the ignition for the windows and a ground. The mirrors will work once you do that also. As far as the locks go, I'm kinda stuck. I was told the Ford locks are reverse polarity thus wiring per the diagram above, but they are not working correctly, yet.

PS- a set of the 1.8 roller rockers & ud pulleys will really wake up the 3.0, well worth the money.

i saw at pepboys they make a window lock kit..try that?

how much did the window stuff cost?

I paid like $125 for everything need for the swap, I got it for pretty cheap though. Most places you can buy the whole door for $100. I can't believe no one knows how to wire these locks correctly.

ahh i see thanks. did you use the factory switch set up or did you have to use swithes with the kit? I hav the factory switch panel and would like to stick with it. Hmm, or you dont even need to worry about a switch with this I guess, you just use the fob all the time.

yeah i just use the key chain clicker, i dont really need the controls in the cab, with 2 doors. you could probably use the factory switches if you wired them correctly
