I have a 96 mazda b2300. the turn signals are underneath the bumper instead of in the head lights like the rangers. I went today to do some wire splicing and swaping to make the corner lights the turn signals. I did the passenger side first because it was easier to get to. I put the two power wires(flasher and solid) to the power wire and ground to ground. Tried it and it worked. So I did the same with the drivers side and now both left and right blinker turn on the 4 ways. How ever, if I pull one of the bulbs ie drivers side, the passenger side works normal and drivers side flashes fast like a bulb is out. So I don't know what to try now.
I did how ever cut this out of my truck before I finished the drivers side and tested. It is a plug with just and cap on the end has seven wires on goes on the core support right under the grill.
Would that have something to do with the blinkers making the 4 ways come on? Or was I just doing something that wouldn't have worked anyways?
